Last updated: 15.06.2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Glaucus Games GmbH processes personal data when you visit this ConVis website or contact us about a demo, Proof of Value or related service request.

2. Privacy contact / Data Protection Officer

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. If you have any questions about data protection, please contact us at hi@glaucus.games.

3. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the ConVis marketing website, email-based contact requests, demo requests and requests to scope a ConVis + Spatial Data Capture Proof of Value. Customer-specific Proof-of-Value work, confidential source material, hosting boundaries or Pixel Streaming access may require additional project-specific terms before activation.

4. Legal bases under the GDPR

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, for example when you request a demo, a Proof of Value or related services.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests, for example website security, reliable operation, abuse prevention and efficient business communication.
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent, where we ask for consent, for example for non-essential cookies, analytics or third-party embeds if such features are added.

5. Website hosting and access data

When you access this website, technical connection data may be processed to deliver the pages and ensure security and stability. This may include IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type/version, operating system, transferred data volume and status codes.

Purpose: operation of the website, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is stored for a limited period and deleted or anonymized thereafter, unless longer retention is required to investigate security incidents.

6. Contact by email and mailto links

If you contact us via the email links on this website, we process the information you provide, for example name, company, email address, role/team, target workflow, demo preferences, Pixel Streaming interest, source-material availability, confidentiality requirements and message content.

We process this data to respond to your inquiry, prepare a guided demo, evaluate a possible Proof of Value and initiate or perform a business relationship. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Demo environment, Pixel Streaming and Proof-of-Value environments

The public demo path uses an anonymized ConVis demo environment. Pixel Streaming access, if provided, is treated as a qualified second step and may involve additional access logging, authentication, hosting, security and processor arrangements. Customer-specific data, plans, mast documentation, source files or acceptance material are only handled inside the agreed Proof-of-Value or project scope.

8. Cookies, analytics and third-party embeds

This static ConVis website is designed without a contact form, analytics script or third-party video embed by default. If non-essential cookies, analytics, marketing pixels or embedded third-party content are added later, they should only be activated with the required consent and this Privacy Policy should be updated accordingly.

9. Recipients and processors

Depending on the function used, your personal data may be processed by hosting providers, email/IT service providers and, if separately agreed, providers used to deliver demo streaming, secure access, project hosting or customer-data processing environments. Where required, we conclude data processing agreements with processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

10. International data transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards, for example EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and assess the level of protection.

11. Retention

We store contact requests as long as necessary to process the inquiry. If the inquiry results in a business relationship, we may retain communication records in accordance with statutory retention obligations. Technical logs are deleted or anonymized after a limited period unless longer retention is required for security purposes.

12. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption where supported by your browser to protect data transmitted to and from the website. Project-specific data rooms, Proof-of-Value environments and demo access boundaries are scoped separately where applicable.

13. Your rights

  • Right of access — Art. 15 GDPR
  • Right to rectification — Art. 16 GDPR
  • Right to erasure — Art. 17 GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing — Art. 18 GDPR

  • Right to object — Art. 21 GDPR, especially where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time — Art. 7(3) GDPR, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

14. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the competent authority is Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Postfach 30 40, 55020 Mainz, Germany; visitor address: Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.
